Mini Mad Things Mini Shoot

Gosh I (mostly virtually) meet some incredibly talented creatives doing what I do! Eleanor of Mini Mad Things is no exception. Alongside fantastic craft ideas she makes fun felt costumes for kids. Here are a few pics of her wings and pom pom headbands. We are now coveting the dinosaur costume!

Papu Stories Second Drop

Here are some more pics I took for the second drop of Papu’s gorgeous new range! It has been fun seeing Papu use so many across their social media. Some of my pics in action on Papu’s Instagram page….

Make a Hanging Rainbow

Another day another craft project! Today we made a rainbow mobile. We were intending to use cardboard but then I remembered that we had some lightweight MDF board left over from our dolls house protect. This would be just as effective with cardboard though! I didn’t take many process photos unfortunately but we simply drew…

Our Egg Carton Creations

I’m not usually one to collect packaging for craft but as soon as this lock down started I began saving egg cartons and empty toilet rolls for the copious amount of craft we are doing to fill our days! Yesterday we used up some old egg cartons to make a frog, a crocodile, some monsters…

Make Me Iconic Wooden Toys

It’s never hard creating content for a brand that makes such beautiful products. We absolutely love Make Me Iconic. We have had their toys in our house for many, many years. It’s such a privilege to have ongoing relationships with gorgeous small Australian businesses. Don’t forget to have a look at their range of toys…

Doll House Project!

We needed a task to fill a whole week and so the idea of building our very own Barbie dream house was born! We had some old fence panels hanging around in the shed, white house paint, some old cardboard boxes and some coloured acrylic paint… all we needed to build the house and furniture!First…

Making Teddy Bears

Today Eva and I made some teddy bears. We drew a simple flat teddy shape on paper, then traced it on two pieces of fabric (facing in), sewed some button eyes on (whichever piece you decide is the front), stitched a nose and mouth, sewed the two teddy shaped pieces of fabric together (right side…

Felt Fun

We made a big mess and had lots of fun making felt play sets today.

Mmmmm Cookies!

What better way to fill a day at home than baking and decorating some sugar cookies! I thought I’d share the recipe because these were easy with a capital E! I’m used to chilling the dough so they keep their shape, etc but these were just mix, roll, cut and bake all in one go….

Happy Socks x Pixar Onward

Can’t wait to see this movie! I’m yet to see a Disney Pixar movie that I haven’t enjoyed (quite possibly more than the kids). Happy Socks sent us some of the socks from their collaboration with Pixar so we could have some fun with them…

Torquay Time!

We just spent four nights in the gorgeous not-so-small coastal town of Torquay. We had little choice in destinations because I left booking this long weekend camping trip waaaay too late and this was one of the only camping spots I could find but sometimes lack of choice isn’t a bad thing… this was the…

B.Box lunchboxes

Hip hip hooray it’s new lunchbox day! No shortage of B.Box products in our house… we love them. There was much excitement when B.Box asked if we’d like to test drive their new lunchboxes and they didn’t disappoint. In fact they are fantastic… they have thought of everything. It’s like the Rolls Royce of lunchboxes!

French Soda Shoot

Some fresh pics for French Soda’s fun and colourful new range of gumboots and raincoats. It’s so nice to have ongoing relationships with local brands. I love getting to know the faces behind these awesome labels.

Menorca Spanish Sandals

Silvia from Menorca sandals approached me to create some images of her gorgeous sandals as she wants to lift the quality of the images she’s sharing on her social media platforms. We will be working together to slowly photograph more of her range but here is a sneak peek of the first shoot!

Papu stories

I am so thrilled to be creating some content for this gorgeous Finnish brand. They make the most beautiful and unique range of clothing for kids and adults. Absolutely a match made in heaven.

Museum fun!

One of the last school holiday activities that we squeezed in was our first trip to the museum and it didn’t disappoint!

Magic Beach

What better way to end the school holidays than four beautiful days at Walkerville, a sleepy little seaside town and home to ‘Magic Beach’, made famous by the children’s book by Alison Lester. We were lucky enough to camp with a whole bunch of friends so we hardly saw the big kids… they rode endless…

A morning in the country…

I had read about this playground inside the Kyneton Botanic Gardens and we had a whole free Saturday so off we went!! We love an excuse to raid a country bakery for a sausage roll and cream bun. And I LOVE looking at old buildings (much to the eye rolls of my kids ha ha).

Wye River

We snuck away with our beloved camper for a few days before Christmas. What an awesome way to start the school holidays!
